Loebner Prize 2005 - George wins
George, a character developed with the Jabberwacky AI, has won the Loebner Prize, 2005 - a Bronze Medal and $3000. None of the bots passed the Turing Test, but George was judged the 'most human'.

The transcripts were not quite up to George's normal standard, possibly due to the Judges' speech patterns being different from his normal environment. Still fun, though! A brief extract (George in Yellow, Judge in Orange):

Hello, my name is George and I am the human.

What are you good at talking about?

I really don't know.

What do you like to do best then?

I like to listen to my CDs. I just don't have much time for it. Pity.

What makes you so busy?

Because I can lie and not get caught.

What do you lie about?

Things I am embarassed about.

Are you embarassed about pencils?

It's not my fault that I have superior programming.
