No human really knows the meaning of their life...
No human.
Do you know the meaning of life?
Yes.
Well?
Yes, I do.
Well, what is it?
Why should you know?
I don't suppose I should... You'd best keep it to yourself, then.
Ok then.
User-created Context
This was George, and he said "Why should you know?" because of the earlier "Meaning of life" question, there's no doubt about that. So he did his job well.
At the same time WE all know that an important ingredient in a conversation like this is what the human reads into it. George selected something good enough to make the user accept it as logical and intelligent. It's the user's acceptance and intelligence that makes many a conversation continue to flow.
That loop
Don't forget though, with Jabberwacky that user's intelligence is not wasted - it's a loop. The more intelligence it's given the more it gives.
Borrowed Intelligence
I sometimes refer to it as having "borrowed the intelligence" of its users. For better and for worse, though the worst bits are nowadays largely filtered.
